Gathering on Sunday June 21
Dear Tri-City Bible Church community,
Greetings in the Lord. It’s always a joy to hear of the many ways you are building one another up in the faith during this difficult time. Every morning brings new mercies, but yesterday's order from the state has also introduced new challenges.
After prayer and careful consideration, we have decided that the 9:00 and 11:00 services will not be held in the Worship Center this Sunday, June 21. Instead we are encouraging home fellowship groups to meet for their own time of worship. This comes with short notice, but the elders are working hard with potential hosts to provide adequate space. Though not our normal practice, we’re confident this will provide a wonderful opportunity to love and serve one another. Perhaps one of the reasons our Lord has ordained the current interruption of our whole-church gathering is to rekindle the genuine fellowship that happens so naturally in our homes.
Please forgive the lack of specifics in this first communication, but we wanted to make sure everyone was aware of the change and can begin to plan accordingly. More information will be sent as soon as it becomes available. Look for an email (or newsletter) on Saturday evening containing the specifics. Let us all give thanks to the Lord for his amazing grace, and for everything he is doing during this interesting time.
Grace and Peace,
Jonathan Rourke, on behalf of the elders
