I'm looking forward to gathering together to worship the Lord with you at 9:00am.
This morning our service will be outdoors again, with that added convenience of additional shade structure. Join us under the tents between the Worship Center and the Education Building. There will also be plenty of additional seating in the shade, so please space yourselves out appropriately.
A large team of men and women showed up yesterday to serve us by helping set up. Thanks again for all the hard work and joyful service you all provided.
As we turn our attention to God's Word, we'll complete our look at submission to authority. Learning to excel while in exile, whether or spiritual or physical, is a daily opportunity to glorify God. Last week we learned that in our submission to him in civil life, work life, and home life, we are proclaiming the gospel to a watching world. This morning, as we wrap up chapter three, Peter puts the spotlight on our personal life. He will answer the question: What does it mean for individual Christians to live out these gospel truths in community?
In order to prepare you heart for receiving the ministry of the Word, consider reading Psalm 34, 1 Peter 2:11-3:22, and Ephesians 5:15-21.
For those of you who cannot attend due to various concerns, please feel free to join us via livestream on either our YouTube or Facebook channels.
Grace and Peace,
